A CONSTRUÇÃO SOCIAL DO TEMPO E SUA DIFERENCIAÇÃO ENTRE O NORTE E SUL: Uma análise crítica da sua trajetória a partir de Norbert Elias

Resumo

As tentativas de sistematização do tempo culminaram com a formulação de várias teses ao longo do processo histórico da sua conceptualização. Na idade média, por exemplo, Santo Agostinho só compreendia o tempo quando não era questionado. Na modernidade, Heidegger pensou o tempo em relação ao ser (sein und zeit) e por fim na contemporaneidade, Elias incrementou a complexidade sobre a temática ao afirmar que "o tempo em si não existe". Este artigo busca reformular algumas das preocupações sobre a temporalidade tendo em conta os 3 períodos e de forma específica o ceticismo de Norbert Elias. O mesmo questiona a autoctonia dos avanços que se notabilizaram no ocidente sobre a questão ao concluir que foi no sul e não no norte do planeta onde as primeiras métricas sobre o tempo foram inventadas através da islamização muitos séculos antes da expropriação da inteligência inventada no Egito.

ABSTRACT

The attempts to systematize the definition of time have lead to a construction of various theses over the historical process of its conceptualization. In the middle ages, Saint Augustine only comprehended the definition of time always was not inquired. In the modern period, Heidegger thought about time in terms of being (sein und zeit) and in the contemporaneity Elias increased the complexity of the subject by arguing that time in itself, does not exist. This article seeks to reformulate some of the inquiries concerning the theme taking into account the three periods and with special emphasis for Elias"™ scepticism. It also question the autochthony of the evolution occurred in the north about the question as it concludes that it was in the south and not north of the planet where the primary instruments that measure time were invented under the Islamic process long time before the expropriation of the Egyptian intelligence.
