Estado e políticas públicas: desafios contemporâneos no exercício profissional de assistentes sociais

Resumo

Na tentativa de responder as necessidades de controle da força de trabalho, o Estado assume o enfrentamento das expressões da questão social legitimando a expansão e reprodução do capitalismo, com isso intensifica as contradições e precarização das condições de vida da classe trabalhadora. E assim, o desemprego estrutural acaba atingindo toda a esfera global e intensifica as expressões da questão social. Portanto, compreender as políticas sociais, em meio ao recorte conjuntural no cenário político e econômico do capital na lógica neoliberal, nos faz atentar para o seu caráter contraditório que elas assumem perante realidade mundial e como essa lógica reverbera no Serviço Social e na atuação de seus profissionais. O trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de significativa importância na conjuntura atual, que surgiu a partir das experiências durante a graduação, com um breve estudo sobre o Estado, a regulação das políticas públicas e os rebatimentos do exercício dos assistentes sociais.

 AbstractIn an attempt to respond to the needs of labor force control, the state assumes the confrontation of the expressions of the social question, legitimizing the expansion and reproduction of capitalism, thereby intensifying the contradictions and precariousness of the living conditions of the working class. And so, structural unemployment ends up reaching the whole global sphere and intensifies the expressions of the social question. Therefore, understanding social policies, amidst the conjunctural cut in the political and economic scenario of capital in the neoliberal logic, makes us pay attention to their contradictory character before world reality and how this logic reverberates in Social Service and in the performance of its professionals. This work is a bibliographical research, of significant importance in the current conjuncture, whichemerged from the experiences during graduation, with a brief study on the State, the regulation of public policies and the refutation of the exercise of social workers.Keywords: State.
